When you first move into your new place, it’s empty. It’s up to you to envision and breathe life into it to transform the intimidating stark, barren walls and floors into your home. The role of indoor furniture in making coming home inviting, relaxing, comfortable and stylish is very important, and perhaps most often overlooked. For me, the bigger, and plusher the stuffing, the better. Comfort and style are en par with functionality in importance for me. And, it’s really up to you to define what use each room will play, and then furnish based on that. For instance, I know that I like to relax with a good book at night, so my den had to have a chair and ottoman with proper lighting within reach of my book case. It’s also important to identify your style and color palette. And be sure there will be room for you to truly live in the space when your furniture arrives. My indoor furniture is plush, comfortable, affordable, suits my rooms, and makes my house a home because it works for me.
